  God this place is beautiful. Do yourself a favor and drive there next time you feel like a short road trip. Absolutely amazing. Little shops, lake view, beautiful road.
  I have heard that it used to be more eccentric and unqiue - now there are just a bunch of generic shops and fast food restaurants. Still, I love the layout and the feel.

  I used to love the Lake Arrowhead Village, but not any more. Things have gone way down hill. Once upon a time, there were a number of neat little shops that you could go in and find one of a kind, super cute, and super unique items and products. I remember when there was a store with nothing but hot sauce and another store that was all about Native American music and paraphernalia. Now? There's hardly anything worth visiting anymore. The most prominent shops are outlet stores and a Jockey Store. I've been living on the mountain since I was a kid, and I used to actually look forward to going to the village. Now I only go there because I need to get the mail or something from Stater Bros. Get your act together.
